at the Stark County Pound
New volunteers are required to have fingerprints on file (this can be done at the Renkert building in Canton for $22), attend a volunteer orientation (these are typically held once a month on Saturdays or you can contact place with Erika Sedei at email@example.com for an appointment for an individual appointment) and sign a waiver. Once all of these are in we will pair you with a more experienced volunteer to help you.
The Friends of the Pound Dog Walking Team is an all volunteer force that the dogs count on for 100% of their exercise, socialization and playtime outside. When we walk, play and groom the dogs, we are letting them know that they have not been forgotten. Please consider joining the team.
All Friends of the Pound volunteers will participate in an orientation program before beginning their volunteer work at the Pound. All orientations will be held on the first Saturday of each month.
Please sign up for your Friends of the Pound Orientation by sending a email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
